How do you remove a Kenter link chain?

When you want to remove a Kenter link chain, you can do as the following steps:

1. Remove the lead pellet by using a punch and a drift;

2. Then remove the tapered pin;

3. The stud can be extracted and then 2 halves of the shackle can be separated.
